2014 Hertfordshire Kwik Cricket Finals
William Ransom & Bengeo Primary Schools will represent Hertfordshire in the London & East National Kwik Cricket Finals on Wednesday 9th July at Clare College in Cambridge with the chance to become National Champions once again, as both schools have won at this stage in the past.
The U11 Kwik Cricket County Final was held on Thursday 26th June at Wodson Park Sports Centre in Ware, and it bought together the 12 winning schools from the local partnership competitions.
William Ransom Primary School (representing the North Herts SSP) defeated Bengeo Primary School (representing Hertford & Ware SSP) in the final. The completion was very even and hotly contested throughout the day.

The U11 Girls Kwik Cricket County Final was held on Tuesday 1st July at Welwyn Garden City Cricket Club.
Roles were reversed this time as Bengeo (representing Hertford & Ware SSP) defeated William Ransom. The standard of cricket throughout the day was very impressive and pays tribute to how the girls game is developing across the county.

Congratulations to all of the schools that took part in the two events and good luck to both William Ransom and Bengeo when they represent Hertfordshire in next weeks national finals.
A special thanks must also go to the sports leaders from the Three River SSP, who supported the U11 Kwik Cricket Finals at Wodson Park and enabled the event to run smoothly.
