Hertfordshire Cricket’s outstanding volunteers were given a day to remember at Lord’s on Friday, as the winners of the 2026 Cricket Collective Awards came together to celebrate their incredible contribution to cricket across the county.

The awards recognise the remarkable individuals who give their time, energy and enthusiasm to make cricket happen in Hertfordshire. From coaching and organising teams to supporting clubs, developing young players and working tirelessly behind the scenes, this year’s winners have all made an invaluable contribution to the game.

Accompanied by their guests, the winners enjoyed a fantastic day at the Home of Cricket, with the sun shining as Middlesex took on Northamptonshire.

The celebrations included a tour of the iconic Lord’s Pavilion, the opportunity to enjoy the cricket from the comfort of a hospitality box and, most importantly, the chance to recognise the achievements of some of Hertfordshire cricket’s most dedicated volunteers.

The highlight of the day was the presentation of the 2026 Hertfordshire Cricket Collective Awards, with each winner receiving their trophy from HCL Chairman Geoff Newman.

It was a fitting occasion to say a huge thank you to a very special group of people whose commitment and passion have made a real difference to clubs, players and communities throughout Hertfordshire.

Cricket simply could not thrive without its volunteers, and the Cricket Collective Awards provide an opportunity to shine a spotlight on those whose hard work can sometimes go unseen.
