U11, U13 & U15 Girls Performance Squads.........
.
Nominations for the Hertfordshire Girls Cricket Pathway are now open and official club and school personnel are invited to nominate players via the link at the bottom of this page. Please note that a player's parents, family or friends cannot make nominations.
At U11 - U15 (School Years 6 - 10) Hertfordshire are running CAG and Development Programmes. The Development squad is the sole feeder to the CAG squads. Girls develop physically and mentally at very different rates. Therefore, Hertfordshire young cricketers will be moved between the Development and CAG squads dependant on what suits each individual at that time. Our remit is the development of each child and helping them become the best adult cricketer they can be. All training and matches will be with a hard ball.
Players who are already part of the Girls Charley Cricket Programme or who are already part of the Hertfordshire Girls Performance Squads at U13 and those in the U15 Squad who are currently U14 do not need to be nominated as they will be automatically invited to continue on the programme.
If you have any talented cricketers, not currently part of our programmes, who you would like to nominate for either the U11, U13 or U15 squads then please complete the nomination form via the link below.
At U18 (School Years 11 - 13) Hertfordshire will be running Winter indoor training between September and March and will include strength and conditioning provision. In the summer there will be official ECB 40 Over and T20 competition matches as well as friendlies.
Players who are already part of the Girls U15 squad, who are going into School Year 11, do not need to be nominated as they will be selected to continue on to the U18 Squad.
If you have any talented cricketers who are going into School Years 11 - 13 , not currently part of our programme, then please contact julie.page@hertscricket.org directly with details of the player.
Is a new initiative and will replace the Girls Charley Cricket Programme. It is an all-inclusive Hard Ball programme with winter training, summer matches and Festivals. This is the entry point of the Hertfordshire County Cricket Performance Pathway for School Years 4 & 5. There is no nomination process or trials for this programme and is aimed at players who are ready to transition into hard ball cricket. Details of the programme and how to book will follow shortly.
