nomination process now open for the 2021/22 season.....
.
Nominations for the Hertfordshire Cricket Pathway are now open and official club and school personnel are invited to nominate players via the link at the bottom of this page. Please note that a player's parents, family or friends cannot make nominations.
The Development Programme starts at U13 and finishes at U15 and is the entry point to the County Age Group programme. Please ONLY nominate talented players that are NOT already part of the Development or CAG programme.
Players who are already part of another county pathway ie Essex, Bucks, Middlesex, Cambs, Beds etc (including other county area, district, borough programmes)ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR NOMINATION.
If players are being nominated for other counties for next season, then please DO NOT nominate them for Hertfordshire. We work with all of our neighbours to ensure that players only trial for one county in a season. This is only fair to players who are only eligible for one county. If you have any questions regarding this then please contact Tanya Whitton tanya.whitton@hertscricket.org / 07393 766435
U13's that have not been part of the current Charley Cricket programme (U10-12) can be nominated to join the U13 Development Programme.
PLEASE BE ADVISED that the Charley Cricket Programme (U10-U12) is an open to all programme but the initial U13 CAG and Development squads each year will be selected directly from the Charley Cricket Programme.
If in doubt please see the Hertfordshire Performance Pathway or contact Iain Fletcher.
If you have players in older age groups (U16-U18) who are not currently within our pathway who you wish us to consider for our CAG squad then please use the same form. As there is no Development programme at this age group players need to be excellent fielders, have good fitness levels in addition to their ability with the bat and ball. As a guide they will be playing regular adult in cricket in Herts Saracens league Division 6 or above and be performing well at this level.
Please note that the nomination process will close at 12 noon, on Friday 30 July 2021. As per the Performance Pathway document there will be no summer trials. We will work through all applications over the coming months and will contact parents directly if their child is to be invited to attend any outdoor sessions in the first instance. We cannot guarantee that all nominated players will be invited to attend.
