for Clubs and Leagues......
.
Dear All
In this week's bulletin there is information about the launch of the All Stars and Dynamos programmes for 2022, advice about if your club is affected by flooding, and a video as part of the 'Changing the Game' series which explains how clubs and leagues can support Muslim players during the holy month of Ramadan.
Flooding can have a devastating impact on cricket clubs whether it be significant damage to buildings and machinery or deposits of sediment and waste on outfields and squares. There are important steps to consider when supporting your clubs which have been affected by flooding and the ECB is available to offer support and advice. For more information please click on the flooding advice button below.
If any of your clubs have been affected by flooding, or are at risk of flooding, the ECB’s Director of Facilities, Bruce Cruse, has written a quick guide on the steps you should consider and how they can access support via the flooding support button below.
As part of the ‘Changing the Game’ series, the ECB and Nujum Sports spoke with Abtaha Maqsood, Haseeb Hameed, Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali to explain how we can support Muslim athletes to be at their best during the holy month of Ramadan during April. To help recreational players and clubs have time to prepare, they offered their views on the key considerations for cricketers, to help manage diets and schedules, so that the needs of their faith and cricket can both be met. To view the video please click in the link below.
Ramadan workshops can be offered to clubs on a limited basis should they be required. Please ask your clubs to contact. Nujum Sports at info@nujumsports.co.uk who would be happy to advise and support where possible.
