Dear All

AN A-Z OF NATWEST CRICKETFORCE
This year, NatWest CricketForce took a different format but it was fantastic to see so many clubs get behind the initiative to ensure cricket was played during these challenging times. We are delighted that 3,285 clubs were able to make use of their NatWest CricketForce PPE equipment and it was heartwarming to see the incredible work done by staff and volunteers across the game to enable us to take to the pitches! NatWest CricketForce was also featured on BBC, Sky Sports, Sky News and Talk Sport and NatWest have pulled together their A-Z of NatWest CricketForce to round-up this years campaign. Thank you to all clubs who took part.

A letter from CEO of the Ruth Strauss Foundation:
On behalf of the Ruth Strauss Foundation I want to thank you for supporting the #RedforRuth 2020 campaign. Much of this year’s success was dependent on the virtual support of Clubs and the cricketing family, and we could not be more grateful for the show of support we received throughout the Ruth Strauss Foundation Test. It was incredible to see so many of you turning your social channels red, organising #RedforRuth activities for your communities and encouraging them to join in. A special congrats to Farnham Royal CC for winning the #RedforRuth Club Challenge this year.
We are delighted the Foundation’s #RedForRuth campaign raised more than £870,000. Thank you so much for playing your part!
The funds raised will help us provide professional emotional support for families going through a similar experience to Ruth & Sir Andrew, and will help us raise awareness of the need for more research in the fight against non-smoking lung cancers.
Since the Test we have been overwhelmed by the outreach from clubs to help us raise further awareness and funds. To support all fundraising activities as best as we can, you can now find resources (such as posters, logos, social content etc) on our website under
Thank you once again on behalf of Sir Andrew, the team & me,
Karina Murtagh

CRICKET PLAYING SURVEY - DEADLINE: MONDAY 21 SEPTEMBER
Thank you to all those who have completed the 2020 Cricket Playing Survey. A reminder that it closes on Monday 21 September and so if you haven't had a chance to complete it or share it with your networks, we would encourage you to do so this weekend. Please find below a link to the how to guide and the survey.
The Cricket Playing survey is ECB's number one opportunity to listen to the views of players and given the changes and sacrifices we have all had to make, more than ever we want to capture the views of as many people from the recreational game, to ensure the voices of players continue to be heard and the game of cricket continues to evolve.
