Hertfordshire squads victorious at Festivals.....
The County squads have been in fine form over the past week starting with the Boys U15’s winning the U15 Festival at Oundle which included teams from 5 First Class Counties, Lancashire, Essex, Somerset, Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire. The boys topped their group by winning all 4 matches during the week and then won the Festival by beating Essex in the final by 6 wickets.
Angus Laws-Mather was also awarded bowler of the tournament for his haul of 14 wickets.

The Girls U15’s were also victorious at the Buckinghamshire 8-A-Side tournament on Thursday beating Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and Berkshire along the way, the same squad won the U13 version of the tournament last year, so well done girls!
The Hertfordshire Women’s team were also in action in Bournemouth over the weekend in the NatWest Women’s T20 3rd Round winning both of their matches against Dorset and Wiltshire. As the winners of their group they now go through to the Play-Off Finals at Leamington Spa CC on Sunday 16 August 2015.
The Girls U13’s also played at the weekend against Cambridgeshire, and although ending up on the loosing side, Hertfordshire’s Gemma Marriott notched up her first Century, finishing up with 101. Well done Gemma !
