Joint statement from HCL and HCCA...
AREA CRICKET PROGRAMME (‘ACP’) - Joint Announcement from Hertfordshire Cricket Ltd (‘HCL’) and Hertfordshire County Cricket Association (‘HCCA’)
ACP will now be independently run and administrated by a separate organisation and will therefore be a private coaching programme, known as “The Hertfordshire Clubs Area Programme”, meaning it is unsupported and uninsured under any HCL / HCCA policy. As a result, this programme no longer forms part of the official Player Pathway within HCL, as recognised by the England & Wales Cricket Board (‘ECB’) and there will be no direct link between ACP and the County Age Group (‘CAG’) representative squads.
Any individual wishing to represent Hertfordshire Cricket, will therefore, have to become a registered member of HCL (via a subscription to HCCA) and follow the official Performance Pathway.
For the 2015 season, the official Performance Pathway will be as follows;
