continues to expand, but there is still room for more Primary schools to sign up.....
.
Hertfordshire Cricket continues to expand our schools programme, with year round school delivery of the Chance to Shine programme to Primary Schools. With almost 80% of our delivery capacity either delivered or booked for the remainder of the 2019/20 academic year, we are in a great position to increase participation in cricket through local clubs and national programmes.
However, whilst communications with schools and school partnerships continue in order to complete our delivery, if any clubs have contacts at primary schools within their locality, please highlight this fully funded opportunity and encourage them to contact Tim Read, Chance to Shine & Education lead at tim.read@hertscricket.org
Further information on Chance to Shine and the free Teacher / Coach resources (including lesson plans and coaching ideas) can be found on the following link and is available to any teacher or club coach.

The website also gives details of the Roar for Diversity project, which we encourage our school partners to undertake, which is a collaboration between ECB and the Premier League Primary Stars programme, details of which can be found on the links below.
The project uses sport as a tool to open up a conversation with school children around the positivity of diverse teams. Pupils are encouraged to reflect on their own experiences and enter a competition, designing an advert bringing to life what diversity means to them.
