SEN Schools 6T's Festival is a hit with all involved.....
5 Schools (6 Teams) took part in Hertfordshire's 1st ever SEN 6T's Festival hosted by Amwell View School and Sports College on Wednesday 21st June as part of Yorkshire Tea National Cricket Week.
Teams from Watling View, Lakeside, Lonsdale, Breakspere and Amwell View (x2) took part in the festival, competing against each other in 2 pools and playing each other twice before finishing of with play off games to decide the final positions.
We had some fantastic matches and have found a game that is accessible to everyone, a lovely day weather wise culminated in Breakspeare School taking the spoils and Amwell View School finishing runners up. (Both Schools are pictured below)
A huge thank you to all the schools that took part in the event this year, special thanks to Amwell View School & Sports College for hosting us and finally to the PE Apprentices from Sporting Futures Training for supporting the festival this year.
6T's Rapid Fire is excellent for teaching children and below the basics of cricket in a safe and easy manner.
