The ECB Foundation Coach programme is the ideal starting point for anyone looking to take their first steps into cricket coaching. This entry-level coaching qualification combines interactive e-learning with face-to-face modules, delivered by expert ECB Coach Developers.

Programme Outcomes
This programme has been designed to give learners the knowledge, skills and confidence to coach cricket sessions that are active, purposeful, enjoyable and safe.
An ECB Foundation Coach will be qualified to lead coaching sessions independently and without supervision.

Who is it for?
- Anyone aged 17 and over wishing to become qualified to coach cricket, inspire players and make a difference to the game. Please note you can undertake the course at 17 years old but you cannot be certificated until you turn 18 years old.
Commitment
- 4 face-to-face modules lasting 3 hours each
- 7 bitesize e-learning modules lasting 10-15 minutes each
- 3 observed coaching opportunities during face-to-face modules and an online multiple choice questionnaire
Pre-requisites for certification
- 18 years of age
- Valid safeguarding training e.g. ECB Safeguarding Level 2 (you will automatically be signed up for this course when you register)
- Valid ECB DBS (this must be in place prior to start of course)
The costs of the Course is £150.00 (on-line payment only at time of booking)
Courses are limited to 24 candidates per course and are booked on a first come, first served basis - places can not be reserved or held. You must attend both session dates to complete the course (you can not mix and match course dates). Courses are not transferable and our booking terms and conditions apply.

If you are not able to make the Hertfordshire dates, our neighbouring Counties (Cambridgeshire, Cricket East, Essex & Middlesex) will all be running courses this winter and may have alternative dates that may suit you better. Details can be found on their websites.
