Nominations for County Pathway U13-U18
Players who are part of our Charley Cricket Programme do not need to be nominated for our pathway; they will be continually assessed during their time with us and offered places on our Performance Programme at U13 where applicable.
We invite clubs and schools which are geographically situated within Hertfordshire to nominate talented players during the summer (usually June / July) each year. This page will be updated once the process opens.
A player shall be eligible to play for a County provided:
i) The player is permanently resident within, or was born within, that County.
ii) Alternatively, the player is attending an educational establishment within that County (this does not include international exchange students who remain ineligible).
iii) Alternatively, the player has been a bona-fide playing member of a club within that County for at least the entire preceding season including playing in representative matches for that club.
Please note that players can only be nominated for one county pathway during a year and need to have played at a Cricket Club which is geographically within Hertfordshire / or attended a Hertfordshire school for the proceeding season. Where players qualify for more than one pathway, they need to chose which county they wish to be nominated for and not be put forward / or continue with one county whilst applying to another. We work with our neighbouring counties in this regard.
