ECB Foundation Coach Courses for Winter 2026/27
Are you looking to start your coaching journey and help inspire the next generation of cricketers? Hertfordshire Cricket is pleased to announce the dates for our ECB Foundation Coach courses taking place across the 2026/27 winter and spring period.
The ECB Foundation Coach course is the perfect entry point for anyone looking to become involved in coaching cricket, whether you're a parent, volunteer, current player, teacher, or aspiring coach.
Course Dates:
Course 1: 18 & 25 October 2026 - BOOK HERE
Course 2: 04 & 11 April 2027 - BOOK HERE
Course 3: 18 & 25 April 2027 - BOOK HERE
Venue: Chancellors School, Pine Grove , Brookman's Park, Herts AL9 7BN
Time: 9am - 5pm
Cost: £200
[b}Age Requirement:[/b] Candidates must be at least 17 years of age.
Places are limited on each course, so early booking is recommended.
What is the ECB Foundation Coach Course?
The ECB Foundation Coach qualification is designed to give coaches the skills, knowledge, and confidence to support players in fun, safe, and inclusive cricket environments.
The course provides an introduction to coaching cricket and enables coaches to lead coaching sessions independently. It focuses on creating enjoyable learning experiences that help players develop their skills and enjoyment of the game.
What will you learn?
During the course, coaches will develop an understanding of:
- The role and responsibilities of a cricket coach.
- Creating safe, inclusive, and engaging coaching environments.
