DISABILITY – Plan
- We have increased champion clubs to 6
- We have increased delivery of table cricket to 16 settings
- We have increased to 3 Super 1 hubs and delivered 5 Super 9 festivals
- We are moving from Super 9 Challenge to Super 9 Regional for our representative cricketers
UNTAPPED POTENTIAL – Plan
- We gave priority to State School children at U10 in our Charley Cricket Program. Across U10-12 the ration was 66% state school and 33% private education. We are deliberately targeting the younger ages as we believe it will make more of a long term difference
- Circa 50% of players on our pathway are of an ethnic origin
- More players received financial assistance from Hertfordshire cricket than previous years.
- We developed better relationship with local FE and HE colleges to include access to officiating, scoring and volunteering as well as playing
COMMUNITY CRICKET – Plan
- Borehamwood, Stevenage, Watford & Waltham Cross - through Chance 2 Shine and engagement days we have targeted schools in these areas and signposted all participants to local clubs. We did not utilise the free bursary places for National Programs because of the ECB equipment safety issues
- Each year the Saracens Herts League grows as clubs from neighbouring counties wish to join and clubs add more teams
