As you will all now be aware, in 2009 the Cricket Development Team re-shaped the structure of the existing Cricket Development Groups (CDG’s) within Hertfordshire. This was done in order to minimise the number of groups and maximise the potential for each group through the power of Focus Club clusters.
There are now 8, operational and functioning Cricket Development Groups within Hertfordshire. The Cricket Development Groups are key in the delivery of cricket programs and initiatives within the County and serve as a great resource to all clubs. Activities such as the Area program, input into Coach Education, shared funding opportunities and sharing best practice are all benefits of the newly shaped CDG’s.
