All at Hertfordshire Cricket are are very sorry to hear of the untimely death of Cliff Spinks at the age of 62. Cliff was a brilliant bowling all-rounder contributing to many successes with both Hemel Hempstead Town CC and Langleybury CC.

Cliff played for the Hertfordshire Young Cricketers in 1981 and 23 Championship matches for the County team between 1995 and 2000 scoring 835 runs (ave 32.40) and taking 43 wickets (ave 41.70). He was capped in 1996 after the 1st Round 55 overs Trophy match against Wiltshire in which he struck a six off the last ball of the match to win the game.
