Hertfordshire Cricket

We are holding trials for the Hertfordshire Boys U13, U14 & U15  Performance Squads (County Age Group and Regional Development) and are now seeking nominations from Hertfordshire Clubs and Schools.   These squads form part of the Hertfordshire Cricket Performance Pathway so we are asking you to nominate only talented players.  You can download a copy of our performance pathway here.  

The trials are scheduled as follows: 

Players already currently in Hertfordshire CAG Squads (ie. County U13 & U14), do not need to be nominated.  A full list of those players can be found on our website 

All other players including those currently on the following Hertfordshire programmes need to be nominated :

• Charley Cricket (including those playing in the County U12 Age Group Team)
• Regional Development Squads - U13 & U14 - North, South & Central

Please complete the nomination form listing the reasons for the nomination and any notable performances together with their skill set details.  

Nominations will only be accepted from Club Coaches, Club Junior Coordinators or School Cricket Masters/Teachers, personal nominations from family members or friends will not be accepted.    

The deadline for nominations is Sunday 01 July 2018.  Those players chosen for a trial will then receive an invite directly from Hertfordshire Cricket within 2 weeks of the closing date.

Please note these are not open trials, and not all players nominated will receive an invitation.

The successful players selected from the trials will then be invited to attend the CAG or Regional Development winter training programme.

Important Information - Player Nomination Criteria

All players nominated must meet at least one of the following qualification criteria:

1. Play for a Hertfordshire Cricket Club (the player must have been a bona-fide playing member with that Club during the 2018 season)
2. Permanently reside in Hertfordshire
3. Currently goes to a School that is located in Hertfordshire
